The Mixtape Awards, the first national awards ceremony for DJs, and aspiring DJs, was created to bring recognition to the most influential DJs in the world. Founded by marketing and promotion mogul, Justo Faison the Mixtape Awards celebrate the promotional achievements of the “The Mixtape”. The mixtape is a tailor made tool that adopts the concept of music and fuses it with brand awareness. It is an effective promotional tool for corporate America to reach audiences of all ages. For example, Reebok launched a sneaker line for rappers Jay Z & 50 Cent Sean Carter, Scion mixtape tour which was hosted by top mixtape DJ’s and celebrities, Guitar Junky with their Seagull S6 review and Electric Guitars, LRG mixtapes with marketing campaigns surrounding this concept, an NBA Locker Room Mixtape Series.

     This unique award ceremony brings thousands of DJ’s to a forum, attracting celebrities, tastemakers and fortune 500 companies.
